The M3 in that video is the E93 convertible not the coupe so a bit slower and it didn\'t use launch control so could have been a manual which is also a bit slower than the DCT/DKG

possible the M3 was with DKG dual clutch tranny and the guy used lunch controll... sportauto tested the M3 vs the RS5 and the DKG equipped M3 failed to get better than 5.0s 0-100km/h time. sportauto (normaly die hardcore BMW fanboys!!!) claimed the lunch controll of the M3 is simple and PURE SHIT no matter how good the rest of the car is..

I think it\'s not bullshit, i\'ve seen videos of a s 65 amg killing a 997 turbo, and it\'s simple, at the start it\'s really hard take all that power to the ground because it\'s a really heavy car and it needs a lot of torque, and a lot of torque it meand more wheel spin.
In that case of the M3 and the S8 it\'s the same, the S8 i\'ts not better at the start or in a track race, but in rolling start it don\'t need that big effort so it can win if the M3 driver is not good enought
