I don\'t think they can be compared quite the same. The GT-R is more of a track monster and is deemd to be impractical and uncomfortable in the city while the M3 can be used for everyday commute.
I bet M3 owners get more girls than GT-R owners. :D

You can't compare an M3 to a 911, because the 911 with some options runs way north of 100k Euro, while a fully loaded M3 stays south of 100k and that is when you really try to spec it out. And then it will run around the basic Carrera like a dog on steroids.

They said a long time ago BMW was coming out with a SPORTS CAR that would compete with Porsche and that was like ten years ago. Respect is something you have to and it will not be done with the M3,no matter how nice it is.

omg not that 3door and 5door crap again:) and over in the us the M3 is only $15,450 less than the GT-R!

Can this really be true? The M3's times are really lacking compared to the Gt-R. The kraut kar got biaached slapped.

The gt-r makes the m3 look punk ass on every track on the planet. Along came a GT-R and kicked the M3 in the nuts.
