@fastestlaps: The Z06 with Z07 package is just as quick and even quicker on some tracks than the gt-r. It also costs the same. They are both the current performance bargain cars.

@FL i know that but he's the one who tested it saying it's always sideways and mad and blah blah blah
when stig drove it, it didn't go sideways even once...the R8 v10 did
i know that somebody in the crew said: lets wait for the track to dry then test the GTR and that same person didn't care for the vette...not acceptable for the world's most popular car show
@mykem: they are usually the same day(when they test it on the track, not the road)
but sometimes they care to wait sometimes they don't
well cars get credit for being fast round such a well known track so it shouldn't be just for fun

@ vette
I don't think the review segment of TG and power lap are done on the same day. Sometimes you can see even the cars aren't the same colours when they're reviewed and power lapped.
It's unfortunate that some cars got damp or wet track but this is never meant to be definitive. It's just for fun (yes, do look it up in the dictionary).

the fat tall idiot is not setting lap times :)
GTR is the performance bargain benchmark. I am sure it will be faster than the new McLaren in most tracks.
