Buick GSX Stage 2 specs

This is not a stage 2 Buick. It is a stage 1. A true stage 2 ran mid 10s back in the day. Stage 2 was never 4 speed, or GSX and only two buick stage 2 models were ever raced back in the day.

I thought tuned cars weren't allowed on this site? As other commentators mentioned, the Stage 2 was tuned, the Stage 1 was factory.

This is not a real Stage2. Here are the specs of a real Stage2 of which only two were produced by the factory. Any ithers would have been built by the dealer with over the counter parts from their parts department

Buick should bring this and the GNX back.

A friend of mine had one and it was a torque monster. He had it dynoed. 423 hp and 507 ft/lbs of torque. It was stock.

That is car may be labeled GSX Stage 2, but that engine is certainly not a stage 2 engine.

@Bijan: Also one of the fastest Buick. Interestingly, the Stage 1 has same Hp as gross rating. 360 Hp but the torque is close 425 ft-lb rather than 510 from gross. For this one, it got 400 Hp and 470 ft-lbs.

@ Eryk03 : The stage 2 was a dealer - installed pack , not a factory option car .
GSX stage 1 was a production factory car , and one of the finest collectible Muscle cars .

So this car is not stock?

@ Eryk03: This car name is actually 1970 Buick GSX Stage 2 cuz it has 420 Hp rather than 360 Hp from Stage 1. So.. Can rename it?

This has same 1/4 mile like GS Stage 1 : 13.38 @ 105.5 mph

This car has done better than 14's in the quarter, I'll say that...

It's an incredible car, and easily the best of the A-bodies in my opinion.

This is the car that i that i post it. 1970 Buick GSX it run from 0-100 kph in 6 sec and can reach 130 mph + and 14.3 @ 160 km/h for 1/4 mile
