Mustang SVO HO competition

@Mental: That "vent" is actually functional, it allows air flow to the top mount inter-cooler. That car is far from an escort. The car cost 1000 more than the GT did, and was arguably faster. It is also where SVT came from. Using the turbo 4 from the previous Turbo Gts with upgrades from SVO, this car was ahead of it's time. Fuel retard for lower octane fuel, Better suspension than the GT came with, Lighter engine up front behind the steering gear giving it better handling. Functional albeit strange looking dual spoiler. The SVO was a complete package.

@ Mental: The Mustang II looked like a Pinto dressed up as a Mustang for Halloween, This Mustang SVO seems to be a Ford Escort posing as a fox body Mustang. But in its defense 205 horsepower is pretty good for an American from that time, in 1985, we were just starting to recover from the oil crisis of the 1970s and most American cars made then sucked, those were also the days of planned obsolescence.

If this is a successor to iconic Mustangs of 60-ties, then Ford Orion is a muscle car too... What a crappy exterior for a car with 'Mustang' name.. and that air vent at the hood doesn't make it more aggressive...
205 hp is actually pretty good for an average sportscar from 80-ties though.. but the Mustang?... This is just an Escort...
