I know that the convertible version is ALWAYS heavier than the coupé or sedan version but 1825kg? The sedan IS250 is 1570 kg.

I only have two real seats so this answer your question :)
The TT is absolutely tiny. I can imagine you have a lot less options when it comes to interior or boot space. Coming back to the topic, the Lexus cab is not supposed to be a versatile family van and in order to save the sleek profile of the car they had to screw up bootspace. I quite like the IS and cab is looking good, but you can not get away from the fact that a Lexus cabrio and especially in red'n'white is a women's car. It just is. And this is not sexism - this is common sense.

I rarely use trunk I prefer putting stuff in the back seat, unless it's a snow shovel or something along those lines :)

Georg it may have a hidden storage area behind that beige vertical panel..... most hardtop convertibles are pretty shit for storage with the roof down. My M3 has a moderate amount of space under the roof (a medium suitcase) but you can't access it without putting the roof up again.
