If AMC were still around and they still made the Eagle, I think that the SX4 would look about like this.

@coolshirtguy, I just watched the video, amazing, especially for a stock vehicle!!

I like Local Motors and the Rally Fighter, but honestly, I don't think the company will last very long, all the successful American car makes have already been founded decades ago, the 1950s, 60s, and 70s made or broke U.S. car makes, if they weren't around then, they won't be around long. Think about it, all the American car makes founded in the 80s and after are gone, IE, Saturn, Geo, Hummer. I hope I'm wrong, but this is my theory.

Still, If your gonna make a car, why not make it look good? you can look good and be functional at the same time without worrying about price.
Horrible name to, LocalMotors? -_-

I take back what I said about this thing having iffy build quality.

That's pretty impressive, not gonna lie. But I still think it needs at least 500hp.

What about the AC Cobra, that's kind of a muscle cars and it's a British car with a big American engine, perfect mix.

"Germany and Great Britain Make some good muscle cars"
Are you talking exactly about the recent 10 years? Well, Germany - I guess you're hinting on AMGs. But about UK? Noble - not, Lotus - not, Aston - not yet, Jag? XKR/XFR series? Uhm, don't these are exactly typical muscles, but surely aggressive wildcats, I love.

I thought the venom was based on an exige? But then the exige is based on the Elise so you could say it's based on an Elise

Ok, sorry, just making judgements on cars I know. And Americans are defiantly alot better at muscle cars (dodge challenger etc) than us Brits. And NASCAR is alot better than the f1 we have over here!! And the USA came up with the Hesseny venom
1: The Americans are known to make Muscle cars, but in the recent years(Or Before) people only thought Muscle Cars only came from the Americans, but thats not true, Germany and Great Britain Make some good muscle cars, still to this day, im defionetnly not gonna say better on either part, but great on every continent.
2: NasCar better then F1? F1 better then NasCar? Dunno, dont care, i get bored after 4 laps, so i dont bother watching racing, doing it sure, but watching no. Id rather watch a movie.
3: They do have the Venom, But in "Most" ways, its still an Elise, but its not...(If thatmakes sense..)

@PeterN
Not nearly enough power, and less than 200lbs lighter; I don't see this thing even being a blip on the Bowler's radar. Plus, it doesn't really look...solid enough to handle any real off-road competitive racing. The silver car in the bottom picture looks better put together, but the matte black one...Those panel gaps worry me.
CoolShirtGuy 12y ago
Hmm...I like it. Looks like a Mad Max vehicle built by an actual factory.
That said...it looks like it has duct tape holding the roof on. When the rest of the car is silver, it looks pretty cool, but it does NOT work for that dark matte finish. Actually, matte finish for an offroad vehicle is a bad idea to begin with.

@ Ferrari Driver: No, it has a Corvette engine, 430 horsepower, it's available also as a 4X4, has the 6 speed automatic transmission from a Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, rear facia from a Honda Civic, and doors from a Mazda MX5 Miata. It's also available with 20" wheels, I like it, I think it's pretty awesome. It's supposed to be a car you can drive to work Monday through Friday and race off road during the weekends.

Does this car really have a BMW engine?
@PeterN
I added three pictures.
I added one picture 2 times (was a falt).
I am so very sorry.
