If im not mistaken this uses the same EA888 engine that that the Golf R uses - but it has fwd yet is able to do 0-200 in 17.3?! How is that possible? If its true then damn this would be the fastest fwd car in the world

0 to 100mpg = 18s estimate.

Yet 0 to 160kph = 11.7s.

11.7 is more believable for 300bhp in a hatchback. But I'm not confident in any of this due to glaring mistakes.

That estimate includes braking back to 0.

In Germany this is pretty much the car that describes "I'm 23 and get a fast car for birthday to impress my friends" the best.

Slightly detuned version of the same engine thats in https://fastestlaps.com/models/audi-s3-sportback-8v-facelift

Base price difference is huge - nearly 8k! But that's what you have to pay if you want that sexy "Audi S" badge, and not a Seat.

P.S. you do get all wheel drive with Audi, so it's actually not that bad value for money after all...

Cupra ST is available with AWD, and probably even a bit faster (also on track I suppose)! Idiot strategy not giving the standard Cupra the AWD option IMHO. I think I would buy it, but the ST is too big for inner City & extra weight.

Its faster then any MQB AWD out there with 2L Engine
