Hi there, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but anyway, here goes: I was glancing through Best Motoring 2002-8 (New Honda NSX-R and Type S Challenge) and spotted a diagram (roughly at 18:36) that says the weight distribution is 500kg on the front and 770kg on the back, making the weight distribution 39.4:60.6 F/R. Just thought you could add it in the specs.

No. That NSX isn't modded. It is only modded when they say it's the "DRIFT KING NSX".

The NSX-R was modded Tsukuba time removed.. AGAIN... and I will remove it again and again...

The NSX-R was running on not factory option

- semi slick tires
- aftermarket coiloverkit
- aftermarket exhust sytem
- aftermarket anti rollbars
- aftermarket brake rotors

LOOK COMPLETE BEST MOTORING EPISODE were they show the car specs and modifications they use BEFOR they run the Tsukuba Battles and NOT only the JDM fan short youtube battle, thinking oh all cars are stock.

First they compared a STOCK Honda NSX-R at the MAZE race track vs the Porsche 997 GT2 and Nissan GT-R there the STOCK Honda NSX-R was whooping 2 seconds SLOWER than both other cars... the later Tsukuba battle was raced with the MODDED NSX-R(privat owned by BM drift King) ...

Dude if your gonna say Type R was modded than you might as well say the R35 was moddes too. thats a legitimate lap time, can you prove the car was modded??? G?

that TsuKuba laptime is legitimate. considering what this car does at other tracks, id say thats full on a correct and good time, without no mods.

I have deleted the last Tsukuba time, the NXS-R racing the battle with the GT2 and Nissan GT-R was modded unfortunatily this incomplete video does not show the best motoring car presentation befor were they list the modifications (tires, suspension, exhust, rollbars etc)

The Porsche 996 GT3 RS of the same time was running 7:43min laptimes ... were is your point?
BTW the 996 GT3 RS was slightly cheaper in Germany as the 2002 NSX-R.. befor you start argumenting with price perfromance..

the topgear test was not crap it was a wet lap..the time was added befor we could add wet laps..

That top gear test was crap. obviously since on all the other tracks it is competitive with the 360 CS and the 996 GT3 & Modena. that would make a RX8 comparable to the GT3 and Modena. :)

The time on the Top Gear track was done when the track was classified as "super wet."

Yeah i know it was on slicks, they said that. It was just a test on how the nsx-r could perform on slicks.

look the time attack laptimes and watch the race... much faster cars were driving around at the back of the field and the NSX looked like it can battle it out with real race cars = cheating..

The 1:03 on slicks wasn't exacly cheating, it was more a way to compare how a road going car compared with race cars when n slicks.

@I the 1:03 run on slick laptime was presented here.. if the old NSX-R only can reach it on slicks the updated version which was heavyer same powerfull canĀ´t do it any better.. there is no way to overcome laws of physics..only if you do it like best motoring by cheating around with prepared cars usinfg race parts to let it look good on race tracks
