Dodge SRT-4 (neon)destroys this car in almost every way

these cars are great, good fuel efficiency low down and good performance up top. you can't complain. the honda v tec engine really is superb. well done honda, and well done every that does reconise how brill it is.

The facelift time of 1.32 is on this site under top gear track lap times if you take a look

^^ Someone made a mistake when they added the Vanquish's time for the TG lap. It says 1:36:20 (wet) when it should be 1:36.20 (wet). The extra":" after the 6 caused the error. Maybe FL will fix it.

Just like to point out that the Top Gear test time of 1.36.5 is NOT actually quicker than the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish's time of 1.36.20 despite what you guys seem to think :) Still considering my CTR is pretty dodgy in the wet it's impressive that the times were so similar.

I have to say it's a very good car, i own it for almost 2 years and it's always a pleasure to drive it! Not to say about reliability, which is great!

Just to add I was once speeding in North Bolton when a police car tried chasing me. Then a Police Van and then eventually I stoped. I need not have stoped as the number plate was filthy and unreadable. Bummer 4 points and £120 fine, and I could have got away with it.

I did 60k miles in one of these most of it through mid wales at speed. I loved it. Honda sent me on one of there Honda MAC driving courses. I took my mum and the instructor had her driving through S bends at 105 mph somewhere near Settle. I sell classic MG's and have owned all sorts (620bhp Corvettes included). In my mind this is the best Gti ever for going quick. If you want to hear the radio buy a golf.

Does anybody know who put the picture on here of the type r at the top of the screen because i own that exact car its parked on my drive right now hahaha when i spotted the reg i thought i recognised it just wondered when and where the pic was taken as its strange seeing my car with someone else driving it.

owned car for 7 mounths done 14k never once has the car done anything for me to doubt its reliability it is bullit proof!!

Not a M5 or veyron, but will beet nearly every other car on the road. ive raced alot of cars. only ones that beet me are the new m3's lancers, skylines e.t.c granted ive added about 20-25bhp to mine, but bang for buck your quids in trust me!!

When did TG ever test the facelift? The 1:32 time isn't listed on the TG powerlaps board....

Its stock.... all Euro spec Civics have dash mounted shifters.

The civic type-R is a true hot hatch that puts other cars to shame...all you have to drive the car first to realise it...dont judge it before getting to know it.

theres nothing wrong with this car, its a great fun little car, i dont see why some of yall dont relize it.

how care's honda civic type r's and corvette's are in a completley different area of the market.Wook's do not rip off corvette's they are incredable car's anyway wook's witch corvette do you own.Anyway back to the realy good civic the honda civic type r is nt all that powerfull it's designed to corner really fast and it's really impressive that they could keep the honda civic type r's wieght down to 2700LBS This will just destroy any sharp tight corner Although they should get rid of the front wheel drive and give it All wheel drive.
