To be honest, this car never really had a successor. The Countach was the market successor, but not really the spiritual one. It was extremely limited in production and handmade for only a few collectors. It was also faster than the original Countach. It could, in some cases, even hang with later Countaches and earlier Diablos.

Even cars like the Murcielago and Aventador don't really match the same charisma as the Miura. If anything, barring all the special editions, it would be the Revuelto that's truly its successor. Even that car isn't so rare. I wouldn't be surprised if the Revuelto was made in even smaller numbers than the Aventador.

i genuinely hate Liberty Walk. i didnt like them already, i thought there cars were somewhere between sacrilige in the case of the F40, and just plain ugly in the case of the rest of them, but this now, is an insult to the intelligence to the wider car community:

Miura was the first automobile with a rear mid-engined two-seat layout.

This car and the Kremlin Vladimir Putin have a few things in common. First, they were the honorable rising stars of the 1960s (a car born in 1966 is the equivalent to a human born in 1948). Born in 1952 though, Putin is very close in age (in car years) to the Miura. Second, I can sing an unknown vintage song with lyrics just including their first and/or last names.

I think that the year of introduction is not 1965 but 1966.

You'd think being called the P400 that it'd be 400bhp

The worlds first \"proper\" supercar. Thats what some say, another first is this comment.
