Great in the twisties. Terrible aerodynamics for straights. I'm glad about that though - it makes for great close racing. Watching these things battle it out on the circuit as they repeatedly slipstream each other and swap positions is fantastic.

why doesn't this car count as a mid engined?! engine is obviously between front and real tires so it should count as a midengined!

Great car, but unfortunately its probably great only on small tracks... the aerodynamics are horrible at higher speeds though and it looses its handling capablities thanks to lift... would love to see it on the ring though

it looks like a g-wiz chopped in half, but it can beat a veyron and most hypercars. but watch out, the atom 500 is coming!

Hey 'Anonymous' . . . why not add your real name instead of 'Anonymous', so that us true petrol heads can all put a name to someone who obviously knows nothing about cars

HA! This gay looking dune buggy is faster than a Veyron at the Top Gear track.

This is one of the coolest looking cars ever. You should see one in the flesh they're tiny, it's like a go kart with number plates. Those wheels are only 13".

Its frigin amazing how this little gay looking dune buggy with only 250hp can beat the top Lamborghini, the world is coming to an end.

The same race but with camera in the Porsche.

'is Aston Martin or Jaguar the only real cars from GB??'
Dont forget the McLaren, Ascari, TVR, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lotus, Noble, Ultima, Farbound, Bristol, De Lorean, Ginetta, Land Rover, Lister, MG, Morgan, Mini, Range Rover and Triumph.

Im actually surprised this isnt the #1 at Anglessey, considering its a short twisty track, n cars like this do the best on those tracks.
Anonymous 17y ago
what do you expect, this car weoghs as much as the shoes i am wearing, weight is every cra worst enemy?? say that to the GT-R!!
Anonymous 17y ago
Looking at how this car is faster than the lambo 670 shows you how weight is every cars worst enemy, and you would think Lamborghini would have learned from that a long time ago.

This is like the fourth or fifth fast dune buggy i have seen on this site, and they all come from GB, is Aston Martin or Jaguar the only real cars from GB??

even with the Right tyres and great temp, it still dont see this doing no 7:32 on thr Ring, yes it will be incredible on the tight turns no question, btu alot of the more powerful cars, will catch up to it on the long straights, dont get me wrong, this is still fast in a straight, but all the long straight in the Ring cover past the 1/4, and this does the 1/4 in 11.9 Which isnt slow at all) but i just think it doesnt have enuff power to make it into th 7:30's, and i dont know what kind of role the R500's aerodynamics will play along there. against almost any car it will be ahead, but when that straight comes, whatever car comes, (say a Lp560) the car will catch up, giving it has time. but there is no question it Will break into the 7's, but under 7:30;s seems a lil too fast. on a shorter track like Tsukuba, i have no doubt that if it were tested it could be the fastest ever there. but on a looooong high powered track like the Ring, alot of things need to be considered.
