Well maybe there is a secret moderator? lol And that dude has it out for you, Maybe we should team up and find this perpetrator who has so wrongfully banned you from adding laptimes! It is a monumental mistake and should be addressed at once!!!

For the love of P1!! I mean god...wait..

User avatar

sroser  2m

Well, someone without common sense should not be given keys to responsibility. I have no objection

And 'commonsense' is all one word.

User avatar

sroser  2m

So what about the few dozen incorrect times on Contidrom if it only takes one time?

And I didn't even see FL jump in to delete the P1 time straight away either. So clearly I wasn't the only one fooled by that video.

You're just happy because you're a little hater bastard.

User avatar

BR2+  2m

Dunno what to tell you lol But like that old saying goes, It only takes 1 time...

User avatar

sroser  2m

Yet when other complete imbeciles add a few dozen times to the wrong configuration for Contidrom, not only are they still allowed to continue adding times, but they don't correct their mistakes even after a dozen people have pointed it out.

There's also a very questionable definition of Buttonwillow "Configuration 13" being used.

But a few haters complained so I get struck off for a good faith error.

User avatar

BR2+  2m

Lol

User avatar

sroser  2m

Sadly I do not have the ability to add lap times anymore because somebody nothing to do with me couldn't use video editing software correctly and apparently I'm to blame for that.

PAPPACLART  2m

I will create those bikes over the next couple of days and add them :-)

@FastestLaps - Looking at the track description, since when does an overall average speed of 68mph, and a best average of just over 75mph equal a 'very fast track?' To me, that looks like a very slow track.

I don't think anything below a 90mph average can even be considered fast, let alone very fast. 'Very fast' is something like Spa, or Monza, or the Nordschleife. Mugello is probably just 'fast'.

I propose the following definitions.

<70mph - Very Slow
70-80mph - Slow
80-95mph - Intermediate
95-105mph - Fast
105+mph - Very Fast

Norton Nemesis 2K - cancelled.

User avatar

BR2+  3m

Yeah it's no big deal just curious.

N what ever happened to that rocket bike? That one with the jet engine that was like 300k?

User avatar

FastestLaps  3m

And all of them probably felt like 300 hp. 2stroke engines are pure evil :D

User avatar

sroser  3m

FastestLaps - some 500cc MotoGP bikes had 220hp.

User avatar

FastestLaps  3m

@BR2 Laptime and car counters are lower because of technical reasons. I think I have discussed this a year ago, nothing I can do.

User avatar

FastestLaps  3m

I don't think 500cc two-stroke MotoGP bikes had "well over 200 horsepower". I think they were close to 200 horsepower.

250s have no more than 60 - 70. You have to be ace rider with balls of titanium to compete with McLaren P1 on any bike. 99.9% of people (of those who can both drive and ride motorcycles) will be faster in a P1, 675LT or even a 570S than any superbike on any given track.

User avatar

sroser  3m

2-strokes apply power over twice as much of each engine cycle though. A 250cc 2-stroke rivals a 500cc 4-stroke. MotoGP in days past used to have 500cc 2-strokes with well over 200hp.

User avatar

BR2+  3m

...But if you crash, Would you rather be in that Moped or the P1?...

Also, On another note, FL, I was lookin at my profile stats, And noticed the laptimes, Before this new refreshed updated page, I had almost 900 laptimes, And more performance tests etc, Now it says i have almost 200 less? Same with Georg too.

User avatar

FastestLaps  3m

That basically means you can be faster than McLaren P1 on a moped.

User avatar

FastestLaps  3m

Holy crap Christopher Martin with a Honda 250 two stroke 1:10. Who can deny that 2-strokes kick a$$?

User avatar

sroser  3m

They look like race bikes. They will only list 1000cc MotoGP race bikes here, just as they'll only list F1 and LMP1 car times. Other than that, it's just road legal stuff.

User avatar

Phil  3m

I actually see a bike lap record as something around 1:08.47 for this track, set in 2010 (assuming same layout at that time). That's for a race tuned bike (Suzuki GSXR-1000) with slick tyres on presumably. http://www.ngroadracing.org/circuits/anglesey.htm
This is presumably just the lap records for this race series and I'm not certain how reliable that source is....

User avatar

sroser  3m

If you add the bikes themselves, I'll add the times.

User avatar

PAPPACLART  3m

Hey fastlaps, happy to help out when I can. Am a Web guy so used to back end of CMS'so etc.

User avatar

sroser  3m

The 2 circuit images for each of Coastal and International could do with swapping around because the image at the bottom has no click to expand option.

User avatar

sroser  3m

Cheers FL.

User avatar

FastestLaps  3m

I'll add them.

User avatar

sroser  3m

Or, I'll do you a deal. You add the bikes (Add>>Vehicle) and I'll add the laptimes.

User avatar

sroser  3m

Hmm.. on second thoughts... hell of a lot of work to do here. Those bikes haven't even been added yet.

PAPPACLART - You could ask @FastestLaps to become a contributor and add them yourself. Reach him in this thread.
