Really interesting how these cars evolved. Nowadays we get Camaros with 3x the power :D

I'm the original owner of an '89, options are; Twin Cat exhaust (240HP). Heavy Duty 3:27 Posi Rear Axle which came with larger rear Disc Brakes. Less than 1900 Irocs were built this way. Has 11,250 Miles and still rides on the Original Gatorbacks.

Why they call a 5.7 liter engine "small block"? :D

I thought my 86 was fast when I was a kid ????. The new 4 cylinder Camaro is faster lol

It would help if they at least had the power levels right as the IROC had 240hp

I would also get a better suspension and tire would obviously come with the wheels. I wouldn't make it a race car, just a really fast road car.

With a 1000 lbs torque it's more like a quick 8 done right and u have to get suspension and tires to Match the power or ur looking at the clouds or melting the tires for the whole 1320

Great car, I love the Camaro, especially this style. I'd just keep it stock if I had one, but if it were an '83, I'd give it some mods, twin screw supercharger, intercooler, 18"-19" wheels, Dynomax performance exhaust, etc.

What a douche. Anyways, these cars have alot of track potemtial once you put wider tires on it. Helluva car for track use.

Put Garett Twin Turbo or EATON Supercharge + Racing Exhaust on this car will give you 1100 hp and 1000 + lb-ft of torque. Then you will have Monster that can run in drag strip about 9.2 Sec (If you do it right) for 1/4 mile
