I own a Ty and my best 0-60 datalog file gave me a 4.9, stop hating and learn to recognize true performance,
By the way my Ty is stock I only have an upgraded cold air intake.

^ I think people are mixing up the times for the Typhoon and the Syclone.
The Syclone was lighter with the same powertrain.

no way this thing get 0-100km/h in 4.8s!!!!!!!

C&D tested it in 5.3s 0-60mph (96km/h) and 14.1s 95mph at the 1/4mile...
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 12.6s / 114mph

3800lbs from 1992, and 0-100kmh is a shock, espescially coming from a 17yr old suv! even today, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo isnt much faster than that.

"4,8 sec with only 280hp and 1,7 tons??"

Its AWD with 361 ft-lb of torque and AWD. It weighs less than a GTR.. so it really isnt that big of a shock.

Wikipedia states 0-60mph in 5.3 sec so 0-100 would probably be around 5.5

4,8 sec with only 280hp and 1,7 tons??

Ok, it may perhaps be fast in a straight line, bt it's not a sports car...

I think I saw one of these at an autocross once. It had a 500 ci 500 hp V-8, racing suspension, and really wide slick tires. It was the funniest thing I ever saw.
