@FastestLaps
Since it's become fashionable lately to ask for a change of a main picture, I think this one could be changed too.
All 50 MC12 Stradale came out of the factory in the famous beige-blue color (a tribute to the racing cars of the past), so the one in the picture is obviously repainted.

maserati mc12 is NOT an enzo, tho it is based on one. difference is they detuned the mc12 and added some weight to it to rival more closely with ford gt, murcielago and slr mclaren. the enzo was a competitor for carrera gt and mclaren f1

this and the mc20 are the only good maseratis. the rest suck a big soccer game hot dog and are trash for pussies

I couldn't find any official downforce figures for the MC12, so I discovered them via HPWizard. Basically, at 200km/h it's 1961-1425 = 536 kg, and then at 300km/h it's 732 kg of force (or 2157kg curb weight total).
Some people say that the official curb weight of the MC12 is 1335 kg, but that's actually the car's dry weight; it's heavier than the Ferrari Enzo by 80 kg in terms of dry weight; it's not a proper coupe, but a targa. Interestingly though, it is only 60 kg heavier than its Ferrari-badged counterpart in terms of curb weight.

I know that,i wasn\'t saying that Maserati develope the MC12, My point is that it\'s a truly Maserati cause it revival the racing soul of the Legendary team with Fangio behind the wheel. But sorry, i understod your point too, it\'s only a confusion

Phavyarden,
The Maserati MC12 have been completely developped by Ferrari. It has F140 (project codename of Ferrari ENZO) carbon chassis, engine and suspensions, only some lay-out items have been adjusted to be adapted at new longer body. It has brake steel discs indeed, not admitted in GT1. I posted pictures of the mulotipo based on the Enzo and used to develop racing GT1 version.
This was a choice of Luca Cordero di Montezemolo to relance Maserati name when Ferrari owned Maserati until 2006, today Maserati is joined to Alfa Romeo.

1335kg is dry weight, Maserati claims 1425kg curbweight.

Gt-R trying more times!
7:50->7:38->7:29->7:27.6
->7:26.9 !!!
And the other cars?Once time!(except GT2)
And the ACR its more similar to a race car...You can make adjust to him

I personally like the MC12 more than the Enzo. It is a car that represents the rich history of Maserati better than the Enzo does for Ferrari. And, yes, it is much more exclusive.
