@ Flabernat: I'd have a CTS/V wagon, I woukdn't be ashamed.

@Shaggy, exactly... Personally I'd love to have a CTS-VWagon. If for no other reason, just to show off how cool wagons can be!

On a side note, I hope Cadillac make a wagon with the new CTS, and ATS if they're feeling ambitious. ^_^

@ Flabernat & FastestLaps: Also most Americans considered wagons to be "uncool"' a car for soccer moms until that role was taken over by the minivan.

@FastestLap, I think SUV's killed off wagons in the US. In general, we like big vehicles. A bigger truck-like vehicle has even more space and it's ground-clearance and 4WD makes more sense to us(also being in a big vehicle gives a sense of being more safe)...
Where Europeans, I feel, like smaller vehicles. Hence why a wagon that has lots of space but still feels small because it's based on a sedan is ideal.... Which is a shame, because cars like the CTS-V Wagon shows we can make a good wagon, just nobody wants them... :/

Did anyone know the true output of 65-67 GTO?

Wagons were HUGE in the 60's and early 70's. They earned a reputation of a "family" car and fell out of favor with car enthusiasts. They returned in a modern form during the 90's. The SUV is really a tall station wagon.

Why didn't wagon cars in USA catch on as much as they have done in Europe?

@Super8: This is probably one of the coolest wagons of all time. ;)

Around 3 Tempest wagon has been transformed by dealer into GTO. It cost roughly same as GTO pack for 2 door Tempest. 2 are standard 1 had Tri Power opt. All cars had standard 3.23 final ratio.
