the 911 997 carrera s is getting some serious compettion around the hockenium short from the mighty bmw m3 (e92).the m3(E92) is nt that far of 911 997 carrera s lap time either the m3 (e92) has a scary 420BHP from its big 4.0L32vv8 engine and the m3 (e92) weighs just 3562LBS.where as the 911 997 carrera s has a 3.6L b6 engine that produces 355BHP and wieghs only 3124LBs.the m3 roughfly did the same lap as a 911 997 carrera s around the hockenium short of just 1.14.3.

how did a viper srt-10 lap the hockenium short faster than 911 997 carrera s. that is very hard for me to belive.was a different test track driver driving the viper because im pretty sure the 911 997 carrera s could corner way quicker than a viper.the 911 997 carrera s did 1.14.3 so i dondt think a viper could do 1.14.2 around the hovckenium short.
