"Nissan GT-R (Mk 1) is noticeably faster."
Now, that not suprise. But, is te GT-R that shitload more of sporty supercar? It is faster, but i guess You can hunt more chicks in R8 (even V8). Audi is easier to live with, not that much, but still. Better at low speeds, again not that much, but it is.
Oh You are so much faster in GT-R, but is NIssan a better drivers car?

The last thing - GT-R is just basicly one option. In R8, if someone is lucky, at the GT-R price will get a lots of extras, like premium Audio, interior, and so on.

Nobody question a fact that GT-R is faster on road, but is this the ca to chose here? Well i quess GT-R is much more focuses on going fast, R8 not so much but in exchange would nicer to be in one in taffic jam on cruseing around the city.
