Viper with that big time advantage torque will absolutely jump out off the line, but ZR-1 would be right there until about 100 mph & then the Viper would say bye-bye. The ZR-1 is no slacker by any means, but the Viper has bigger balls w/ that V10 & and close ratio 6 speed tranny.

The Viper would have killed it in a stoplight match 385 tq on the Vette to 465 tq Viper, also the V10 starts hitting that peak torque at 3800 rpm while the hp keeps climbing up to 6,000 rpm.
On the track however the ZR1 might dance around the Viper! Though the Viper was made for the track the Corvette ZR1 was much more refined. I still would have loved to see them head to head! Both are amazing cars!
