in a rolling start drag race zr1 will smoke 458 italia.

If the 458 is faster than the ZR1 at accelerating to 60, 100, 125, 150, then how would the 1/4 mile time be slower? Fact is, the ZR1 1/4 lap is the absolute idea conditions (sticky drag strip), while getting the perfect launch possible with minimal wheel spin. The 458 just does it almost anywhere, anytime, and always consistent assuming no rain

Yeah, Chipmunk is right. The Shelby Crown Victoria Super Snake eats both the 458 and ZR1. That kind of rare Crown Victoria beats the Jaguar XJ220, the Nissan R390 GT1 road car, the Ferrari Enzo, the Porsche Carrera GT, and the Pagani Zonda F as well, with a top speed of 222 mph.

Why my comment below got hidden? Cuz of my name? Chip, chip!

Of course the Shelby Crown Victoria Super Snake eats both the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 for breakfast!

i know some people will disagree, but wouldnt it be more fair if we would take the 2:50 on VIR from the zr1.

as the 2:45 was clearly made by a better driver and by c&d testing all those car on the same track by the same drive we do have the perfect comparison

Ferrari over Chevrolet every day.

California > Grand Sport/C7 Stingray/C7 Z51
458 Italia > Z06
458 Speciale > ZR1

Which will be faster, C7 ZR1 or 458 speciale? I believe that Ferrari will be faster on track.

@Z Yes.

Very unexpected. It is very hard to beat ZR1. 458 is a great car!

Ferrari 458 Italia won as I Expected.

The 2012 ZR1 eats the 458 all day!

There are many tracks where the two are very very close, nearly identical.

So it's more like: 7,6,2 (458,ZR1, close).
Many of the times are within half a second of each other and one is .27 away from being even. It clearly boils down to the track type, conditions, and driver when determining which car is quicker around a track.

In a straight line, there is no competition. The 458 is clearly quicker.

Z06 CANNOT beat a 458 proven in this vid! So don't talk crap!

ZR1 can't even beat a F430 Scud FFS

People like you should be banned from making any comments! I really have no idea where you get your info from?

And aparthy how is 9-6 tracks evenly matched? that's a lose for the ZR1...

The expert-one  6y

g is correct.ZR1 blows away the 458 in a drag

They look pretty evenly matched to me.
But then again, this comparison tool is far from perfect.
