contrary to what many are saying, the GT2 RS pretty much dusted the GTR (it won on every track save one japanese track), it's really no competition for the GT2 RS, this just proves that electronics can only help so much when it comes to performance.

imagine if the gtr had 600hp ? score difference would be 200+ lol and another win for the gtr, since this is a biased euro site all we can do is just laugh

Nothing better than Porsche. New GT3, Turbo, Turbo S also will rape this japan shitcar.

"GT-R Should Have Won at The Track If Don,t Add The Manufacturer Claim of Nordschleife 7.18.00.But GT2 RS,s Only Confirmed Lap Time is Only 7.24.00 Tested By Sport Auto"
What? Drop Porsche's manufacture laptime, but praising Nissan's claim? And put that slow Porsche laptime by SportAuto? Hey, mister, then compare to Nissan's laptime by SportAuto too.. and it is not faster than Porsche's...

@JayKarthi
lolwut? Even within the 'Ring time, the GT2RS is still faster on 5 of the 7 tracks listed. And while I agree that the RS's 7:18 shouldn't be here, as with all of Porsche's other perfectly flat, proof-less claimed times, the same goes for the GT-R. It NEVER ran a 7:18, even the Motor Trend article linked as an additional source for the time quotes a 7:19.1, which was then mathematically adjusted by Nissan to 7:18.6 to account for traffic on the track.
The 7:18 is completely bogus, and Nissan has yet to provide a video of the 7:19.1 run, just like Porsche. I, for one, am not taking their word for it. Video, or it didn't happen. As far as I'm concerned, and as far as this site should be concerned, the GT-R's fastest run is a 7:24.22.

@Mike B or anybody who knows...
Do we have any clear idea about the time difference between the 20.60 km (SportAuto) and the 20.83 km Nordschleife lap (AutoBild)?
0.23 km in 5 s = 46 m/s = 166 km/h, but probably the speed at the same track spot after the start is not equal for the two variants of the lap...

ive been banned. was it cause i was stupid, or was it cause i was annoying?

magical. hmmm.. germans are enginering magic in thier cars. or thier lieing.

Damp, on the 20.6km
But one has to remember that Porsche kind of claims full lap (they've never said a word about it, but claimed time for GT2 has been achieved in a full lap, and one independent test of the Turbo S with passenger on the full track got only 4s shy of the official claim)
