It also holds the record for horsepower per liter for diesel engines. The 2nd is the Alpina D5 Biturbo (3 l, 350 PS), the 3rd is the BMW 25d (2 l, 218 PS). 4th is the Audi/VW 2,967 l, 313 PS, the 5th is the BMW 35/40d 2,993 l 313 PS.

That one too.

At 247Nm/l the torque per displacement even nearly beats the records of all other engine types, only second to 262.76Nm/l from the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X FQ400.
