I really don't see the point in performance pickup trucks when they need 200 hp more to perform similar to "regular" cars

Do you realise how much money Mercedes Benz AMG could make with a twin turbocharged V8 pick up? Or how about Audi with a twin turbocharged 3 cylinder! I want to see some crazy projects again!

In Europe, pickup trucks and vans have engines that make economic sense - just enough power to get the job done, good longevity and, most importantly - low fuel consumption.

V8 pickup only convers the longevity part.
