Yeah probably best in red. I also just looked it up and couldn't find a roadster version, so I must be mistaken. I will have to re-read some of my Ian Fleming James Bond novels and figure out what car was out running Bond's Bentley until they reached the longer straights. :)

Of course, white, silver, red and blue would it fit better but I would not say it is ugly.

Yeah it looks a lot like the Maserati 3500 GT. The Lancia Flaminia Roadster also figured in one of Ian Flemings novels (I can't remember which) so even the creator of James Bond liked this kind of styling. The Maserati 3500 GT showed up in the novel "On Her Majesty"s Secret Service" if I remember right. :)
On the other hand, I think it looks better as a roadster. :)
