You guys are being too hard on the poor Granturismo, lol
@Mental: don't get me wrong, I see what you mean though, I too would LOVE to see a new maserati supercar (with 500+Hp) in the near future as well.

@Hans: unless you're only talking about straight line speed, you're wrong, the maserati is indeed faster (or about as quick) on the tracks than most of it's competitors, (disregarding the nordschleife time, done by horst von saurma of course)

As you can see, although it may not be super quick on the straights, but as you can see by these comparisons the maserati, beats it's competitors on the majority of tracks, or is about a tie. keep in mind that the comparison uses the 2011 model, not the 2013 model shown here which is even faster (even if it's by just a small margin)

Prettier then any Audi that's for sure, Aston? lol don't think sooooo.

460 hp is not enough to be a supercar. But I want a Maserati supercar with performance numbers of the Aston V12 Vantage level... Currently GT MC is a sportscar only.

And I don't see it hurting Ferrari sales, if a Super GranTurismo was introduced. Maserati has got so a lot of potential.

@aaaa Actualy this maserati is slower than german competition and just as slow as Aston/Jaguar.

What is important? Its a Maserati, Nuff said.

They have a lot of history, I think they have lost a BIT of what they use to be, But not like Ferrari, Maseratis have had a certain Elegance and stance about them that you just don't get from any Italian car.

Maserati sells more and more cars nowadays.

What is important about Maserati ?

That Maserati isnt pushed so hard (by competitors and buyers) in performance competition. And it is nice. Maseratis are just good looking (for many pple even beautiful) and luxurious cars that have good performance. And they are still pretty exclusive.

..I think thas bullshite.

Hell Fiat should buy them, The hell with being slower then one, Maserati already makes prettier cars then Ferrari, There performance segment isn't the same. Theres profit in Maserati, Do they even need them?..

@mental

Remember what Clarkson said in the 8c review: "faster than a Ferrari is a bit of a social no no in Italy" (exception: Lamborghini)

It isn't helping that they're owned by Ferrari either

I would have to disagree on the performance aspect, look at the 2011 mc stradale's laps, it's actually quicker on the tracks than most of it's competitors. (aston martins, jaguars, bmw's, audi's, mercedes, etc.) so even a small power boost would only improve on an already really fast car.

@BR2
Ehh.. sorry my German.. I was telling in meaning 'massive'.

If you think this looks gross, you need professional help...Bad..

@ Mental: You're right, Maserati does need to make their cars more powerful, they're not competitive against their rivals, but I do like the way the GranTurismo MC looks, awesome.

So the new facelifted Maserati GT MC. So WTF is the sense? Every year increasing the power in 10 horses, and all? They had to create something really evolutionary radical already, a GT supercar with more than 500 PS. That would be a deal.

And exteriorly, they just get it worse. Or just such a photo? But blatantly those narrow rims.. they fit excellently fit Subaru BRZ or BMW Z4, but hell not this gross Maserati.
