I haven't really time-tested that car. Mostly because it's old and not meant for sporty driving. But it dynamics were very good. I would say up to modern standards. In it's day, when it was launched that 2.3 engine was cutting-edge technology and just as powerful as 6 cylinder engines with much bigger displacement. 0-100 in 11.3 seconds seems like an understatement.

Unfortunately I have found only performance datas. I don't have the magazine. :-(

It has a K-Jetronic fuel injection. It was tested with 5 speed manual transmission. The base 230E had 4 speed manual treansmission.
