VW needs to bring this to the US as a Fiesta fighter. With the right ervadtising and promotion, this would be a very popular car in the US. US Car buyers would recognize it for what they think VW still(used to)sells. Small, good on gas, peppy, fun little cars. Not the faux Audi luxury stuff they're trying to promote.

Actually, you can, its still stupid to do that, thas like me weighing myself with all my clothes on. but whatever i guess
So your car comes with a remote control does it? There are lots of ways car companies measure weights of cars none is more stupid than the other...... what do you think is a fair measure? Just the weight of the car without fuel, oil and other liquids? Maybe with fluids and fuel..... but nearly empty or a full tank can make a difference of 50kg..... or maybe the other option which is including the weight of an average driver...... another option is including all optional extras..... all different but none are stupid.
Also when you last went to the doctor and they measured your weight I bet they didn't ask you to strip off LOL if they did you'd better change doctors!

read the technical data (couldn't find it in english):
http://pdfserver.datacase.ch/pdf/amag/seat/deutsch/Preisliste/Leon_FR_d.pdf (page 5 - 4th car)
1450 kilograms including 75 kg for the driver
and the fully equipped version on www.zeperfs.com (1460 kilograms):
http://www.zeperfs.com/en/fiche3035-seat-leon-ii-cupra-r.htm
hope this is proof enough... didn't want to upset anybody...

the weight is wrong, the car has a total weight of 1450 kilograms (incl. 75 kg for the driver). i mean the 1375 kilograms could be right... if we were talking about an r/c car ;-).
