"The looks Alone are worth the 115k price tag"

The looks, the beautiful exterior and the sound!

When the track is THAT wet, between 6-8s is the difference if it were to be dry, Also depending on Drivetrain as a Awd car would take off less, a damp track is about 3-4s difference, but again, drivetrain.

Plus this car isn't known for its handling, its more like a Challenger then a 911.

But wtf buys this car for its handling capabilities? The looks Alone are worth the 115k price tag, id GLADLY Spend that on this ANY day.

a lake was on the track that day

Top gear lap must be wrong, how the hell this 450 hp car could be slower than the Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 JTS that has just 185 hp? Even with wet circuit this would be impossible

450 horsepower from 4.7 liters is pretty good, but 4.7 liters is not big for a V8. The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a remarkable car.

just the Best. it has everything: big v8 feeding 450 horses, amazing tech and the body - the God. this car is the true successor of legendary alfa super cars. i wish this car was taken to the track and beat everything. but hell, damned british weather, i believe if the track was dry, this alfa would eat any m3 or 911s.

btw, alfa is going to present the new 4c at geneve. its awesome, though i wish to see a bigger engine there and be a 6c!

@super9man9: most rubbber boats with outboard engine and 50hp would have been faster given the conditions...
Stiff and sharp suspension and a lot of standing water is a bad combo. Even the spider would have done better since its a little lss stiff and much more confidence inspiring. Mind you this is not a trackday car anyway.

This car is so awesome. It is amazing how it was really slow on the top gear track!

this beauty to rival any super sport!
and then does the same time the 911 Turbo
is a phenomenal car as well as exclusive, only the Italians can not understand!

whoop's i made a big time mistake i meant 1.27 would be a more realistic time if this was tested in perfect weather condition's.not the wet sorry about the mistake i was nt wereing my glasses

User avatar

Adam  17y ago

well maybe 1.27 would be a more realistic time if this was tested in the wet.

User avatar

dude if youve read magazines or some shit, youd know this car doesnt come close to that weight. it really weighs 3494. and 1:25 is Highly unlikley!!!!!!

User avatar

Adam  17y ago

the shape of this car is amazing it's so smooth and curvy know about the performance i know the 1.38lap was in the wet but come on even in the wet this car can do better then that what with 444hp and only wieghing in at 3080LBS i think the best this car would be able to do in the wet would be 1.30 maybe it could get around 1.25 in perfect weather condition's.
