Scaffolding with lots of plastic stuck to it and an engine (also can remove Jeremy Clarkson's face) in about 5 years I could build one! Still bags of fun though.

This car is sooooo lame, you cant drive it anywhere without a helmet, over a bump, or in the rain, or you will be killed. Not to mention if you have a crash. It has a 500 bhp/ton And yet it is just as fast a Mclaren MP4-12C around a track, a car that can be driven anywhere. I know its great for the track but its NOT a road car and I hate how they advertise it as such.

So: 100-96.6 = 3.4 kph difference. Do you really think they need 0.3-0.5 seconds for another 3.4 kph?!
Well, if 100 kph is achived in 2.3, then 3.4 kph would be in less than 0.1 of a second.
In conclusion, 0-60 mph is quite the same as 0-100 kph.
