Mental, you don't seem to understand. This is a car released exclusively in the US for only one year. BMW would not have had anything to sell in the segment for a year in the US if they went through the European e82 e88 cut off. To be frank, I'll take a 135is over an m135i or an m135i simply because of the E82 hydraulic steering, simple interior, and most importantly the lack of pumping noise into the cabin.

What is the sense of making the older E82 1er, while there is the F20 in the market already, which is supposed to be E82's successor? It is rather confusing.
Technically, I can see both models are very common. So M135i is supposed to be the same car, just with a way uglier body? That's an involution... BMW could further develop the E82 and not introduce the F20, whether 135is is still in production.
