All these facelifts made us forget how beautiful yet simple the Aventador LP700-4 looks. Masterpiece of the last decade

So the new Lambo will have a 825ps V12 with electric motors combined for >1000ps

Ladies and Gentlemen John Hennessey and Mario Williams (two passengers 😂) in an exquisite Lamborghini Aventador LP700 in a 1/2 mile event in 2012!
They achieved 167MPH in the standing 1/2 mile verified and my understanding 190MPH in the standing 1 mile!
That is SICK! Those McLaren's aren't that much ahead!
And the driver is a big MF, no disrespect just saying, so that power to weight ratio probably took a "hit" meaning she's capable of perhaps a couple of MPH more!
Class video.

Standing Mile~ 0-193MPH= 26 seconds on the counters> GPS verified.
Top Speed~ 193-200MPH= 4 seconds on the counters> GPS verified.
0-200MPH= 30 seconds on the counters> GPS verified.
That's very quick. Not forced induction quick but still.
Variances occur.

If the 2023 Lamborghini Aventador replacement a rumoured naturally aspirated V12 hybrid has LESS hp and torque than 2014 LaFerrari then even before it hits the showrooms it's at risk of getting SPANKED by the baby Ferrari 296GTB which is tracking for Holy Trinity or quicker pace. Stephen do NOT FK this up.😪

0-193MPH
10.932>36.824 seconds minused= 25.892 seconds!😲
Please check these times I've absolutely NO problem with anything I calculate or measure being validated.
Truth is I know for a FACT even this methodology can be improved so quicker times will come!
Regardless the Lamborghini Aventador LP700 is a ****ing cool car! I've said before but when I read Car and Driver Magazine in 2011 in the United States of America at Christmas after buying a copy in Walmart it was forever etched I'm my memory. As much as the black Lamborghini Gallardo much before it only in Autocar.🤔
Guess black Lamborghini's it IS!😂

100-200MPH comparison Lamborghini Aventador's
2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700 2012
2016 Lamborghini Aventador SV LP750 2016
2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 2019
From each RESPECTIVE Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds TOP SPEED video measured on the COUNTERS. No liability accepted for a 0.5 difference circa at 200MPH speeds. Any issues contact Johnny Bohmer. Assumed stock production, no modified notices in titles noted.
100-200MPH
LP700= 24 seconds
LP750= 38 seconds
SVJ= 27 seconds
The aerodynamic drag on the LP750 is massive as is the downforces qualities. It's obvious to see!😯
Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae predictions? Maybe 1 second possibly more improvement on the LP700.
😉💯

Unpopular opinion: the original Aventador is the best Aventador. It was created during the time when 700hp meant hypercar territory; it competed with the Pagani Huayra and standard Koenigsegg Agera both in straight-line performance (up to 230km/h) and especially on most road courses. These days it's barely, if at all, a supercar. The SVJ and Ultimae versions even get brutally trumped by (both physically smaller and mentally smaller) cars from Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, Porsche, and to a lesser degree, Mercedes-AMG. Those have 6- and 8-cylinder engines in contrast to the Lambo's 12. They usually cost far less at around US$300-400K versus US$500-800K (!) for an Aventador, depending on the version.

Please understand, *translated from German with Google translate.
Quote>"The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupé accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.0 seconds. After 9.0 seconds, the 2D measuring device reports 200 km / h. Even beyond that, the forward thrust in the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 continues almost linearly. Today's climax of the acceleration orgy is reached at 300 km / h after just 23.9 seconds."
Quote>"The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupé only needs 30.8 seconds for the 0-300-0 km / h test. A Lambo top value, as a look at the 0-300-0 km / h history books by sport auto proves. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera took 39.3 seconds to measure the acceleration and braking. The Murciélago LP 670-4 SV took 36.2 seconds."
Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570 and Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670 0-300-0km/h verified times? Yeah I'll take some of that pie!
Quote>"Fire at Free - 3.0, 9.1 and 24.5 seconds. The fixed roof roadster zooms in just as quickly as the coupé over the 100, 200 and 300 km / h mark. We drop anchor and decelerate again from 300 km / h to a standstill. The closed roadster brakes as stable as the Coupé, but needs a braking distance of 292.7 meters from 300 km / h, 3.9 meters longer than the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupé. The total time of the roadster from 0-300-0 is still only seven tenths of a second longer than the fixed roof version at 31.5 seconds."
0-300-0km/h for the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster! Wow! Plus full metrics!
My only criticism is they went to all that trouble and then didn't include the times in their tables? But I've read enough AMuS to know they are legitimate.
Cool little read and metrics!
