got a ride in one of these from the guy repainting our lexus ls recently. Awesome thing. couldn't live with it as my only car though.

How much are these? I don't think we can buy them in the USA without importing them special order.

I own a Cobalt SS Turbo that is a great car (#160 here) and you can pick one up for about $16K right now. For another $2K it easily kicks up to 350whp!

I also find it interesting that in the USA you can't buy a Ford Focus RS! FORD IS AN AMERICAN COMPANY!

Can someone please fix the Bedford West Circuit Time? It says 1:27:82 but it should say 1:27.82 to be positioned correctly

Cracking lap time at Bedford, now beats RS6 and just 0.2 secs off the Supercharged Elise. Trick tyres or not, this megane rocks!

In my opinion it shows how mis-directed the RS Focus is. I know the Focus is billed as a road car, but its nearly 4 secs slower around Bedford than a FWD rival with 70 BHP less-thats not impressive, considering that many RS's will inevitably rock up at track days.

Next time out Ford, please go for losing weight and not just a big BHP count. The RS500 is even quicker but no lighter so I bet the R26R will still kick its arse around most tracks. And i mean £35k for a Focus, you're having a laugh. Still its sold out, which shows the alure of the Ford RS Badge!!

oh..this is faster than honda civic type-r mugen..and honda cost 15 k more...impresive!!!

Wrong, the R26R was fitte with Toyo R888's, which are in fact Semi-Slicks that are road legal and come standard with the car, so it counts, alot of other cars use Semi-Slicks.

that top gear track doesn't count, the car had slick tyres!!

Why the times of the r26r don´t mark an (*) meaning it is on toyo 888 tires????

megane r26-R 7- 0 focus RS

yeah i saw that black on white on Top Gear, it actually looked much better, but the nonpainted hood just ruins it for me. maybe a nice white, Fully painted color with silver Rims, and all that writing stuff gone, than it would look much better, juss looks like a clown car with all that crap on it, fats, but looks like one.

It can be specified with black rims on white, amongst a range of other coulour schemes.
The carbon on display is cool, I think. Paint weighs too much, haha.

I know this is a Hardcore Track Car, but did they have to add Red Rims and an unpainted Carbon hood?..lol

yeah, its hard to gauge this type of car, fwd, semi-slick, the world has never expierenced a car quite like this. although, i am surprised at the SL65, considering its Ring time, even though the Ring has more space for the Black to stretch it legs.

lol i got the sl65 black spot on didnt really know what to expect with this one
