Top speed is wrong.
There were several tests when this car speed excided 300kph.
I think RUF BTR was first production car capable to do it.

If you get the chance to take one of these on the track, stay very, very alert. A friend of mine ,who by the way is a driving instructor, tried mine and nearly messed his pants on the first corner.

"But its funny how the Ultima line of cars does not get tons of hits and they probably build better cars than Ferrari or Lamborghini, not to mention the Maximus G-force, which would destroy any car on this site."

It's the same with all the really really really fast cars because they dont have famous names and get reviewed by magazines or shown on TV. Ultima, Maximus, Radical, Caparo, SSC, Dauer, Orca... Most people haven't heard of any of these cars but I bet they could all beat any Porsche or Ferrari.

That's my dad's car. It's a 1986 RUF BTR, it is fast!

Because it was added only recently. And also because in today's world it is not that popular.

I have added the Jensen V8 Interceptor Cabriolet two days ago and that already has 220 views.

Why this car has only 245 views? THIS CAR WAS THE FASTEST CAR in 1983!

yes the 1983 RUF BTR was the first complete car RUF offered... short befor they started production of the BTR they recived by law the car producer status in Germany in 1981. (in 1987 they recived the same status in the USA by EPA and DOT)
