@phavyarden in reaching max speed max power is important.
The look is a subjective thing. Personally i like both cars.
458 sounds better, has much better handling, steering etc and obviously is better on tracks. SL 65 AMG has an epic V12 engine with huge power and tremendous level of torque that is one of those things that make that Mercedes an extraordinary supercar.
Honestly i dont know which of these cars i would take....i would have to make a ride before making a choice :).

I love the looks, Not so much the GT3 though, Or atleast not as good as it should be.
That F-Type is a thing of beauty, And its raunchy, loud as shite, Pretty decently priced. The perfect British Muscle car.
But i would also take a Ford GT and Viper over those mentioned, Those are what i call my kind of cars, I love those things. But that F-Type would be extremely hard to pass up, A GT3 maybe a masterpiece, But Masterpiece comes in many forms.

Yep,but i'm not a fan of the looks of the 911's too(997 or newer), but i know that are a masterpiece. A Viper for me all the way, Ford GT would be my second choice and then a Jag F Type.

jjjjjj, i still remember that you hate how the 458 looks, if i remember well " as a smashed monkey" or something like that lol.
I use to think the same, but when i saw one in black i change my mind xD. Still the SL65BS is absolutly gorgeous. epic looking.

Because it's limited top speed. With that amount of torque, it could probably overpass 330km/h
