Geez...same weight too. These cars are nearly equal in performance.

If the 458 is faster than the ZR1 at accelerating to 60, 100, 125, 150, then how would the 1/4 mile time be slower? Fact is, the ZR1 1/4 lap is the absolute idea conditions (sticky drag strip), while getting the perfect launch possible with minimal wheel spin. The 458 just does it almost anywhere, anytime, and always consistent assuming no rain

Kate Uptoncomment marked hidden? I was only telling Eric that Wikipedia is not a reliable source.

Yeah, Chipmunk is right. The Shelby Crown Victoria Super Snake eats both the 458 and ZR1. That kind of rare Crown Victoria beats the Jaguar XJ220, the Nissan R390 GT1 road car, the Ferrari Enzo, the Porsche Carrera GT, and the Pagani Zonda F as well, with a top speed of 222 mph.

There are many tracks where the two are very very close, nearly identical.
So it's more like: 7,6,2 (458,ZR1, close).
Many of the times are within half a second of each other and one is .27 away from being even. It clearly boils down to the track type, conditions, and driver when determining which car is quicker around a track.
In a straight line, there is no competition. The 458 is clearly quicker.
