These two aren't really competitors because when the SSR first came out, during the last 2 years of the Lightning, the SSR only had a 5.3L V8 with 300 hp. The SSR also wasn't your traditional boxy truck.. And besides, the SSR was a midsize truck to the Lightning's full-size
