Did Horst von Saurma pull the pedal down half way?

van sourma has an infinite record of slow driving italian cars. he is like the old japanese ww2 soldier lost in a pacific island fighting u.s. tourists half a century after the war was over.

...Most stripped out track cars do, as they should for being orientated.

There are plenty of cars able to break the 8Min barrier, if every magazine/show etc had the best drivers, with alot more laps, EVERY Nordeschliefe laptime would be improved tremendesly.

But not everyone can get those conditions, If it were me, i would volunteer for free, and you can be sure i wouldnt be in the seat if there was a hinted Country biased driving. but even saying that, Money is a Powerfull foe..

...Being heavy, Is not like it used to be, Tell that to the ZL1, GT-R, GT500, M5, RS4 etc etc.

I don;t think so. This car is too heavy and has shitty suspension

I agree with Mental, this CAN go in the 7:50s range, If an XKRS can, so can this, if this MC can get a 1:13.0 Hockenheim time, it can do in the 7:50s range, dont see any reason to think other wise.

No, IMO if the driver was just programmed to drive in the best way, the time under 8 would be guaranteed. And if you compare it to the Jag XKR-S (which I guess isn't much faster than Maserati and the suspension I think is not sharper than in GT MC), the Jag has run a Full Nordschleife in 7:51, and that's with S. Bert behind the steering wheel, who IMO isn't the best racing driver.

But you admitted very well that GT MC isn't a burntire monster, but it's still quite fast car.

Apart from that it is far to heavy and not as powerful as could be. This beautiful GT car is not a track monster.

It cannot. Its suspension is waaaay to soft for the Nordschleife. (It's too soft overall for a car like this)

Imps, I wonder von Saurma still hasn't been pensioned off! I know this car is able to run in 7:50 range.
