How tricky are these cars to work on? We have a 91 164 with the 3.0 12v V6 that a friend has been storing for a few years. He's got the engine half apart and it hasn't been run in years, but the body is absolutely immaculate. We've been thinking of doing it up, but we're much more familiar with American cars than Italians, so we're not sure how much of a can of worms we'd be opening up.

The photo of K847 SLR cannot be a Q4 as there was never a right hand drive version. It would not be possible to convert a FWD version as the floor pan/chassis is very different.
