This Mugen is 100% a production car..... it is built from the ground up in a Honda facility and leaves the factory with a Mugen Honda badge..... there is no aftermarket tuning involved.

I dam sure wouldnt buy it, Gimme a T350C for the ame price when new.

This a tuner car not a production car it should not be allowed.

The high price is partly down to the level of customer input..... each car is designed to the buyers wishes.... I think this only applies to the trim and paint but may go into areas such as engine/wheel/brakes as well. Its still a stupid price for a beefed up civic.

BTW the price is £38,599 and as the R26.R hit the market it was £23,300.

£38,000 is still overkill in my opinion. And last time i checked, £24,000 is no where near 1/3 the price. And just because its rare does Not mean its worht it, you need to get over that crap, Rare doesn not mean better or worth it.

This car was not tested by many magazines... they only build 20 of them and as far as I know they sell them only in the UK..and this car has a hard time beating the Megane R26.R which cost only 1/3 of the price and is avaible in larger numbers!!!!!!!

Tank? Its 3897lbs, thats actually quite light for a luxury car, and you would be stupid to take this over a C63.

So what all that Hp in the mercedes for, just to get that tank to move.

Track Car Vs Family Car, Hmmmmm well no shit, you know what. put this against a C5 ZO6 and see what happens.

It amazing how the C63 outweighs this car by 1100lbs but has double the power and this mini-car still beats it, go figure.

This car has been tested in many magazines and on tracks, and has easily beaten the Focus RS MK2 and many more powerfull cars, the tyres and LSD help a lot but even so, its a quick little racer for something that only has 237bhp. BUT, only 40 will be made and at £38k its so overpriced it will only be purchased by collectors.

Georg are you as insane as looking at?? Just only 200 HP and so good performance hm? I've wrote 200 HP because all I know for real all civic's and S2000 has maximum 200-210 hp only manufacturer claim that engine deliver 240 BH (I'm absoluty convinced of this couse I had new s2000 and check on test bench, test shows only 209 BH, mechanic who work in Honda service confirmed me that its typical for this sort of engine) no matter is this Type R, S2000 or Mugen. More over why you thinking that this car which has FWD and ordinary gear box and so puny engine is able to achieve 100 km/h in 5,9 sek. or top speed 250 km/h do you have any conformation or autoritative source???
