According to stock market, NIO is TWICE AS BIG AS FORD MOTOR COMPANY.

I don't have any hope in humanity left.

Why no 6:45,9 laptime?

And Paul Ricard 1:52,78

A few facts:
The EP9 produces 5,395 LBS of downforce at 150 mph, closer to an F1 car than anything else, and it can corner at 3.0 Gs. The batteries weigh 1400 LBS and can be swapped out. 0-60 is in 2.7 seconds, 0-124 is in 7.1 seconds, 0-186 is in 15.9 seconds. Top speed is 217 mph.

It should hit 0-100 in 1.9 sec.

The 0-100 2.7s time does not match the rest. With remy motors and rinehart inverters and quoted torque/wheel torque it is not possible. Not far, but these days when tesla beats everything it matters. The hump in the graph looks funny as well. This is an interesting concept, basically a massive wing.

Whenever China steps forward, people become all kinds of salty and dicking, especially those Chinese who either altered their citizenship or joined U.S. funded Ngos and now they are doomed. Prpare to send your daughters to be asian h00kers narrowinded losers!

It's not valid, There first one was on a Z type slick tyre made for the car, and they managed to shave 20s off? Lol more aggressive settings, more laps, better conditions and slick tyres made this possible, neither laptimes is valid.

Nio is making 17 cars in total, 10 I believe are the road legal street versions, The rest are race cars, Or track dayour specials, And that's what thus one is, So until late they release a road car time. The 705 and 645 are invalid

Since the lap of 7.05 from the last year is accepted it should be discussed if the record lap of 6.45.9 is valid or not. I judge it as not street legal because the car has no numberplate and on the official homepage they admitted that the tyre is a slick performance tyre. Therefore both times should be invalid?!

Yeah they defiently aint playin fair, But then again they never said they were...

unfair  7y ago

New record is 6:45:900.But this car is completely street illegal and does not conform to any racing rules,it's a Prototype Car,only six car is manufactured. The body is so low, less than 5cm.The whole chassis is using Ground effect.
It’s unable to be combined with a street legal car,It's unfair.

Yes, this car is sponsored by Chinese money but every bit of it is British. Not to mention that China is much different than it was.

User avatar

BR2+  8y ago

..It may make power, or PTWR but you cannot base that on track performance, So just because it makes that doesnt in no way mean the laptime 'Feasible"..

User avatar

bob  8y ago

can someone please delete the Paul Ricard time.

User avatar

Al Millin  8y ago

Well apparently it produces 1341 hp which makes the times feasible. I was mistakenly looking at the power to weight numbers, my bad

User avatar

Al Millin  8y ago

The acceleration claims are totally unbelievable for a car that supposedly puts out 773 hp. O-300 in 15.9 is Veyron territory!

Looks fkn amazing!!

Although i think the power is a bit overkill, Weight is somewhat surprising, But looks bloody fantastic? And 7:05? Good lord, Its certainly one way to get the companys name out there, And China? No way, Cant be Chinese, They didnt rip of another car company...
