I wish it could do the figure 8 as fast as the z06 and the grand sport. I wish it didnt weigh so much and i wish it had aero like the viper acr that made it 100% a handling car like the viper acr. Personally, I like the grand sport better than the zr1... its a lot lighter and as weve seen, better figure 8, and is just a more fun car. And i think it looks better.

Have you driven it? If not how do you know its less fun? And are you really complaining abut .4s on a figure 8? If you watched them both you wouldnt even tell the difference.

GS and Z06 are what the ACR rivals. ZR1 has no Viper rival, it's a 2019 vs a 2017 and competing with GT2 RS, Pista, and Ford GT

Honestly if it were my money I would get the simple Z51 package over the grand sport. It’s narrower, faster in a straight line, better mileage, cheaper and faster in the real world in city traffic and tight carparks.

It’s a shame my country doesn’t sell vettes.

I understand if you want the biggest willy waving you go for the ZR1. Of course

I agree 110%. Well the problem with the ZR1 is it rides more like a GT car as opposed to the GS and Z06 twins. The ZR1 is designed for a high-speed tour, and the GS/Z06 are designed more for the road course.

The ZR1 is pathetically not much faster than the Z06 around the Green Hell and the VIR, and only by just a few seconds on each of those tracks.

If GM went the Viper ACR, Huracan STO, 620R/Senna, AMG GT Black Series way with the ZR1, there would absolutely have not been any problems and hardly any criticisms with the ZR1's capability.
