temperature 15C dry. acceleration figures would be faster in warmer conditions. They'll probably match the claims if they had low fuel loads too.

I'm curious of the laptime though. Did they keep the gizmos on or off...

...0-60Mph in 3.0s, 0-100Mph in 6.5s 1/4 Mile in 11.0@134Mph..HOW in the hell is that not fast. You are expecting WAY to much out of this, what, are you expecting this to be as fast as an Ultima GTR 720 or a Saleen S7 TwinTurbo?.. Honestly. NONE of these etsts have been bad, So what if some are off factory claims, That's exactly what it is, Sometime they can do it sometimes they cant, Conditions and drivers are the most important part. QRs test is the best and that should satisfy you. I think a 911 Turbo S's Launch has got you messed up.

Did you read the acceleration test result ?

First figures tested by Autocar are way worse than factory claims. For second 0-170 mp/h is that bad that it means 0-186 mp/h in 28-30s which is hilarious for top supercar - Ferrari F12. But on acceleration movies F12 has realy good 200-310 acceleration so it is weird.

...Slow acceleration? Seriously?..

What is wrong with you?..

The biggest problem of F12 is slow acceleration. Overall it is a great car but for "the fastest Ferrari ever" it is laughably slow car in straight line for current standards.

And i mean it...there is no excuse.

I think that Ferrari does not understand that nowadays performance is realy important.

60-100 mph in 3,5s is hilarious.

Yeah, I was never overly impressed with the F12. I think people saw the HP figure and got all excited, but it's not really living up to the hype. By comparison, the Aventador blew away my expectations and I personally think it sounds much better than the F12.

Good lap time but did they test the acceleration ?

And F12 did so bad ?

So that car is realy slow in straight line.

@Flabernat did you see the acceleration test result ? You should be satisfied now it has been proved that F12 is in fact very slow car in straight line. I would say that laughably slow.

New GTR should have similiar acceleration.

Or maybe Ferrari had time to setup the F12 for Autocar's lap before hand... They're known to do that.

after seeing f12 very competitive laptimes in many circuits, now i doubt motortrend's laptime in laguna seca !!!!
