Very quick. I wonder if Alesi could go much faster. Front engined sports cars are different...less strength and intensity than F1 but a flowing rhythm.

I wasn\'t bashing his skills, is just that I remembered that the time for the Italia was also done by a Pro-racing driver.

Yeah, I have to agree that Randy Pobst is an excellent driver. I remember riding in a Neon ACR as a passenger as he ran very quickly through an autocross course in Harrisburg Pennsylvania in 1995. His skill was fantastic. Even years later, I never came close to having his skills. Great driver, fine teacher.

Surely he will humiliate 99% of all journalists badly with his laptimes

Unless one of the journalists is also a racer or former racer, it\'s probably 100%

@Mike B: give google a go and you\'ll see that he is a pro-racing driver with a decent record behind his name.I\'m Surely he will humiliate 99% of all journalists badly with his laptimes.

Is this Randy Pobst so much better driver than the others who made laptimes on this track? I mean, come on, a GT500 faster than the ZR1 and 1 second slower than the 458?
even the '11 GTR time is hard to believe.
