it did not lap the track during a topgear TV show..it was tested by TopGear magazine (online/print)

When did this do the top gear track?

Dyno figures vary all the time.
Most R26's have between 225-235ps tested at Rstuning Leeds Uk.
They have been specializing in Megane sports from day one,so they have lots of experience.
As far as Semi-slicks go, they are worth about 8 seconds around the Nordschleife.

This is not the only time where the Megane Sport F1-Team R26 was put on the dyno and showed that it does not make 230hp but rather 247hp. It annoys me when manufacturers do such things and is cheating in my opinion and its also true for the the Seat Leon cupra which is not 240hp but rather 261hp

The Megane F1 Team shares exactly the same beefed up suspension of the Megane Sport Trophy, the only different are the sticker and 5hp more. Both are trck focused special editions of the normal Megane Sport. The Sport Trophy was tested by sportauto with 8:38min at the Ring

Its only 0:00.2 secconds faster than the Megane Sport Trophy at Hockenheim Short. Does anyone have a time for Nordschleife ? I think its 236km/h top speed will be this cars downfall.

the Balocco laptime is outstanding...only one second slower as a Evo IX and faster as a Audi S3... truly the most hardcore FWD currently avaible in the world.

Not a typo.... the R26 lap was on a damp track.

no tippo? wet track? the more powerfull more hardcore version 3s slower as the normal Megane Sport..there is something realy wrong
