I'm not an R8 fan in the slightest, but I just checked: on used market they are dealt for around 45-55k. Pretty insane considering a Z06 goes for pretty much the same in Europe.

@Shaggy
Yeah, I certainly do! Lots of well heeled wine enthusiasts come to the Napa Valley with their exotic and/or expensive cars. The wineries are nice looking places to visit, although tasting fees are kinda high, and the wine is a bit high priced as well. I usually buy cheaper wine at Trader Joes, but sometimes I will purchase at wineries that give me a big discount (since I am a wine tour guide). :)

I recently parked behind one of these beautiful Audi V10 R8 models, when I was having a tasting at Silverado Vineyards winery. The owner, who was also there for a tasting, was very nice and even said he was envious of my convertible for such a nice sunny day. I added a picture, his car is the blue one up front, mine is the black Spyder behind his. :)

Well its based on Gallardo, with Gallardo engine and this makes it very special. It feels like Italian car, but with Audi comfort and interior quality.
Can be used every way in brutal fashion. V10, middle engine, AWD, oversteer. Not scary but still fun.
I mean what You would to have more?

you do not understand :D
Audi also have 3.0 with 333 PS. This 3.0 272 PS is just detunded :)
Audi can make 420 Ps 3.0 TFSI but for what?! If Audi have 4.0 V8 420 PS :D
If BMW have 2.0 R4 245 PS Audi have 3.0 V6 272 PS :)
As I wrote, Audi depends on reliability and prestige :)
3.0 V6 272 PS is better than 2.0 R4 245 Ps.

272hp from an na 3.0l isnt that impressive either though. Its good, but a bit small and weak compared to their competitors.
I know they are capable of good power, but I would like to see them do it. :)
Because they dont, I will be considering a 328i or an ats turbo but not an a4 in a couple months.
The a4 is just outmatched in the power department.

Disrespectful and foul language will not be tolerated.
You can show your disdain for a car or a manufacturer without being rude.
For example: I dislike some current Audis for a few reasons.
1) their 2.0t is underpowered compared to its rivals
2) the v6s are impossible to work on
3) the 2.0t had a couple critical issues that audi was aware of but didnt fix for their customers. The cam follower can degrade and then the high pressure fuel pump literallyeats the intake cams lobes!!! Worst of all, audi did nothing about it.
Lets please try to have mature and intelligent conversations and debates! :)

@ zelandrew: Oh my freaking gosh!, what cave did you grow up in, you ignorant pathetic troll?! The problem is that some people hate Audi drivers because they're rich and the haters are jealous, many people, you included only hate Audis because you can't afford one. Audis are among the finest cars on the road, their build quality and reliability are excellent, and most Audis are pretty fast. You might want to do some research before posting another retarded comment like that.

You have a greater prestige with Audi? LOLOLOL...What?
Driving a type of car doesnt make anyone more prestiges then the nex person, thats just incredibly retarded. And they respect you because your rich? Hmm its usually the other way round...
If your looking for that, your gonna have to go somewhere else.
I Love the R8 V10, its a great car and great looking in and out.
But honestly, Who calls a 100k Corvette Cheap? Trolls are getting more and more, soon they may take over if nothing is done...

If I have to choose best supercar, I will choose Audi R8. Looks amazing and that's most important. If you show up in Audi, you have a greater prestige, people will respect you because you're rich. Not like those ugly, plastic and shabby new corvettes for poor losers. Yuck...
