I can't think of a reason why it is so much more expensive in thr usa.

Interesting fact, a Z4 SDrive 35IS is £10,700 LESS then an M4 in the UK, And $1,600 MORE then an M4 in the USA, That is incredibly interesting, So a Z4M would prolly be around $75,000 there if they made one, I wonder if that high price is the reason one isnt out yet.

Yes they are getting expensive. But a Z4M could work if they slot it just under the M4 in price and performance. I'd personally prefer a Z4M coupe over M4. I think it would look much better.

Same. But Bmws are getting extremely expesnsive knowadays, The 35IS is approaching £50,000, And a 35IS in the states STARTS at $65,000.. Hell an M4 is approaching £80,000 here, and almost $100,000 fully loaded in the US, Not that i wouldnt have much trouble paying it, But they are getting a bit rediculous.

I am still hoping for a Z4M coupe. BMW STOP MAKING THAT UGLY ASS X4 UFO AND PLEASE MAKE A Z4-M COUPE. I'm done.

Great car, its not extreme fast, but convirtable add some driving pleasures to it. Good entry level semi-sports car. Hope BMW will make some new Z4M version in the future.

is this really THAT much better than the Ole Zed4?

Top Gears comparison with 370Z is unfair. The Z is not convertible. Z4 Coupe vs 370z would be interesting.

More and more people in the market want the folding hardtop, rhe heated seats, NAV, etc. All of those things add weight.

Besides, the Z4 is a girl car and girls usually lie about their weight so if a Z4 owner calls it a small convertible, who are we to disagree with her? j/k

its not really a small car anymore, it weighs more than a viper lol. doesnt really fit he small convertible purpose in my opinion they should never weigh much more than 3000 lbs.

^^ Does that include the Boxster?

User avatar

FadeToBlack  17y ago

I'd buy this over any other small convertible (like the SLK, except the 55 though).

User avatar

Wouldnt say that.

IT'S THE TRUTH, want it or not. Once you get behind the wheel of BMW, you'll forget about other cars.

Since it's BMW, it's the Godfather of all the cars.

Who do you think you're fooling?

User avatar

Heyhuub  17y ago

That would be Mercedes.

They need to come up with a better name or nomenclature for the newest BMW models. "Z4 sDrive35i" doesn't flow naturally when spoken.

Cool but extra weight could cut the hanling edge.
