Quote>"Forget Quarter Miles Times, This Lambo Does One Mile in 20.845 second at 409km/h, WOW!"
Further>"This is no stock Lamborghini Gallardo, and based on the numbers coming out of it they may have only kept the lambo body and logo’s and modified the rest. The list of Tuners is long and what they did even longer, so its just easier and quicker to list them off, We have Exelixis, GTR RT, ZOD, SPP, GTT, Altechno, Syvecs.
What do you get with a list of tuners like this, well it means that its now pumping out a massive 1575 hp at the wheels which is equal to 1850 hp at the flywheel, thats 1379 kw if your not that impressed by hp numbers. Imagine a car that has three time the power of a stock Gen-F HSV GTS. The quarter miles comes up in a mind melting 8.814 seconds at 289km/h (179.6mph) and it keeps pulling the earth around towards it to reaches a MILE in 20.845 seconds at 409 km/h (254 mph) which by no surprise is a New World Record. “Wow” is about the only word I need to say."
And thus, with a record breaking run circa 8 years later an Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo inspired and sparked a revolution! The Lamborghini Aventador article was a small start.
This above was an incredibly impressive achievement even compared to record holders presently today. The entire back story, the rivalry, the money the blood the sweat the tears! And ultimately the fellowship of friends. Incredible!
I could go on, but this level of depth story gathering takes a little time, so it can be consuming! But it's worth it everytime!
Definite hat tip, just watch what Lamborghini does next, because I KEEP saying it. With Bugatti gone VAG are free with Lamborghini's engineers to create modern day classics!
We'll soon see.🙂

Ferrari driver 13y ago

Heads Up...the New 2013/2014 Gallardo...isnt what i would call a looker, i just saw the pics of the new ones, No added Bhp, but there are improvements, same name, LP560-4, but looks a good deal different, sorta how the new R8 is to he older 1, just a bit more, I would add them, but im not gonna add anymore to this site as it is now. sorry.

BR2, 14y ago
The difference is because one was a show test and the othr a magazine test, if it were a real REAL test, i would estimate the LP570-4 SuperLeggera would have done a 1:17.8.

Ferrari driver 14y ago
the top gear track time is 1.20,5
the gallardo lp-560 time is 1.19.5.
is it a falt?

Ferrari driver 14y ago
racing rivals:
whats about the
Porsche GT3RS, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Audi R8 GT?

Pete 14y ago
It's a laptime from topgear magazine so it's legit. they just never showed it on the television.

alex 15y ago
Please provide info of when did the lp570-4 was tasted on the top gear track couse i think it was never tested
