7:54 Nordschleife Short lap time by “Sport Auto” were seted in cold track, and Markus Shurig said that this car should be faster than this time.

7:54 on Nordschleife is lap time seted by “Sport Auto” magazine chief-editor Markus Shurig. This lap was on 20.600 m configuration of track.

7:56.50 is lap time seted by professional German GT1 and DTM racer Klaus Ludwig in 2006 by Auto Bild Sportscars magazine. As I know, Auto Bild Sportscars tested cars on FULL 20.832 m configuration of lap. So it all comes together, lap time in shorter lap with journalist is lower than lap time in longer lap with professional driver. Above 5–15 sec. So 7.56.50 is time for a Nordschleife Full.

Nordschleife Full Lap – 7:56.50 (Klaus Ludwig) Auto Bild Sportcars 03/2006.

Anybody have information about short Nordschleife Lap time. In some sources shows numbers about 7 min. 40 sec. Is this true? Who can found information on this issue of Auto Bild Sportcars and take a photos of them? And also for Bentley Continental GT lap, BMW M6 (E63), Lamborghini Gallardo SE, this car and Porsche Carrera GT?

A German boat for those that could not fit into sport cars.

A shame we never got acceleration stats for this car. If I were to assume how fast it is, it probably would be somewhere along these lines:

0-100: 3.9 seconds
0-160: 7.9 seconds
0-200: 12.0 seconds
0-250: 20.1 seconds
0-300: 36.9 seconds

Which puts it similar to the 2001 Lamborghini Murciélago and a Ferrari F50.

This would certainly be 45 seconds quicker around the 'ring if it used the 992 GT3's set of tires

still amazed me that this thing launched in 2004 and the specs are still holds up to this day

What's not to love about this car? :,)

it has no chance of beating the clk dtm on any track..
Power / weight 260 ps (256 bhp) / t <-- M3 CSL
Torque / weight 267 Nm (197 lb-ft) / t <-- M3 CSL
Power / weight 347 ps (342 bhp) / t <-- CLK DTM
Torque / weight 477 Nm (352 lb-ft) / t <-- CLK DTM

To be honest, the M3 CSL is faster only because it was driven by pro and the CLK DTM by journalists from a magazine. I even ain't Mercedes fan but this one was a hell of a car.

This thing looks so much better than the newer CLK 63 Black Series. Data is also impressive.

This makes my list of dream cars, this machine is just brutal!

The old-good CLK DTM... Mmmm... Even more badass than the Black Series... Just shame, there are neither CLK-class, nor DTM series with us anymore...

Comon , there is no E92 CSL , maybe GTS...i was talking about the E46 CSL and about the nordschleife track...

m3 csl? Comon. Last time I checked there was no E92 M3 CSL with 500 hp.

The NSX-R did not have 280BHP... it was considerably more, despite what Honda claim.

And much less weight. Saying that a car is amazing just because it did something with less power is pointless.

The NSX-R did this lap time with only 280BHP.

1:44.10 is the correct time in the 2007 magazine was a laptime sheet published of all sportscars Oschersleben laps... the other time wasfor the convertible

And two Oschersleben times using the same reference! Anybody knows the real one?
