I can imagine the RS Spyder will destroy this with ease, and the Evo variant would obliterate this

I am browsing your web site for the first time. Perhaps you can help me with specific basic information:
1. Are any of these cars street legal in California? Can I drive one to the track?
2. Cost or price range

According to the driver who ran the 1:10.8 on the T1...
"Even two-up it would have obliterated the current record."

@ Hayes
The issue with cars like these is that setup is so important because these cars are so fine tuned for the track. Whichever car is set up better for that particular track with a particular driver will be faster.
IMO, the T1 would beat the SR8 if both cars had a full team of factory mechanics and the same amount of setup time (tailored to suit 1 amazing driver).
Too bad we'll never know.....:(

one more... how can this ROAD LEGAL CAR with normal road tires be fastest (by at least 2 sec) than same car with slicks (in qualification lap!!)at SPA? check by yourself...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k7UMaZnF4k BULLSHIT......

Look at this....ROAD LEGAL!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxUx6qi0I_k what a joke!! You have to cheat in this way if you want to be fastest, and you can do it ONLY IN ALBION......and such a comparison....what a crap!

I found these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mdf9VufdVU, the winner drives an Osella which is very similar to a radical, much faster but is not street legal, you can do that only in THOSE country...

Other then UK, Germany and France it ain't road legal because it don't comply with EMISSION standards, especially in the U.S.

Wow, how many people concerned with practicality! The funny thing is that on other pages they glorify cars with 2 seats, 200 km autonomy, the price of a house, the noise levels of a fighter plane, the comfort of a fakir bed and the yearly taxes of a small business. Truly the utmost practicality and usability a customer can desire.

buy one of this, make it road legal IN THE COUNTRY WHERE THIS IS POSSIBLE and get nordschleife record easily....maybe even a 30 sec less!

These things are on the street all the time, many people here dont consider the 6:47 record a..record, i certainly dont, the True record holder to me is the Gumpert Apollo S, not this, and many people say the same, but whatever, the Radicals are street legal here in the UK, and EVEN in America!! :) I know right!
But again, Practicality is just a word for people who think you need what they need, Impracticality doesnt exist.

@458-V8BUST
"Junk" that currently holds the Nordschleife record. I suppose these cars are "junk" too:

Not that you need to worry. People like you never end up in a position where they could afford cars like these.
